Deborah F. Wiggin, CFP®, RLP, CDFA, serves as president of Wiggin Financial Planning, P.A., a Fee-Only financial planning firm based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  Wiggin provides clients with portfolio management, financial life planning and pre-divorce financial planning.

Wiggin began working in the financial planning arena in 1991 when she began Deborah F. Wiggin Financial Planning. Through the years she has worked in partnerships and in the major corporate arena. She built the foundation for her practice during her previous four years as a life insurance agent with Mass Mutual Life Insurance Co. in Fort Lauderdale. There, Wiggin was a leader in sales because she offered client-centered service and built strong relationships with her customers. This client-centered approach was a natural bridge to her Fee-Only financial planning practice. Today she manages the investment portfolios for many of her past insurance clients.

Before joining Mass Mutual, Wiggin served a marketing director for Advance Image Systems in Boca Raton and as an account executive with Jack Kilpatrick Advertising Agency in Coral Gables and Outline, Inc. a design firm in Fort Lauderdale.

Wiggin received a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire and a master’s degree in business administration from Nova Southeastern University.

Before joining Mass Mutual, Wiggin served as marketing director for Advanced Image Systems, a business machines distributor in Boca Raton, as an account executive with Jack Kilpatrick Advertising Agency in Coral Gables, where she honed her considerable sales presentation skills, and as an account executive with Outline, Inc., a trade show booth design firm in Fort Lauderdale, where she received formal sales training.

Wiggin received a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire and a master’s degree in business administration from Nova Southeastern University

Wiggin, a Fort Lauderdale resident, is a member of the International Association of Certified Financial Planners, Institute for Certified Financial Planners, Financial Planning Association of Miami and the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts and the Institute of Registered Life Planners.

She resides in Fort Lauderdale with her husband of 35 years and works in her practice with her daughter Heather Wiggin.
